 The inn sits less than 750 feet from the entrance to Mt. Sunapee Resort and has direct access from our property onto the trail for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing; and is just minutes away from ice skating and sledding. During warmer months you can use the same trails for biking, walking or hiking. Lae Sunapee Park beach is right around the corner from the inn.
 All guest rooms have private baths with queen size and/or single beds. Enjoy a hearty New England breakfast before going off for a day of fun in the sun; perhaps a day at the beach or you may prefer to sit on the porch and enjoy a good book.

Walk out the door and you'll find the old rail bed which formerly serviced passengers from Claremont to Concord.
There you can enjoy hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. The trail also leads to Lake Sunapee beach.

The enclosed sun porch makes a cozy spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast, prepared by your innkeepers in a way you would have had at Grandma's on Sunday morning.
It is also a perfect place to read, relax, and enjoy a hot cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or apple cider while taking in the beauty of the surrounding grounds.

Furnished in a quaint, country style that brings back memories of Sundays with the family in the country, the Blue Goose Inn offers four amply sized guestrooms, each with a private bath and queen sized bed. A "comfy" sitting room, three-season private enclosed porch and a private entrance are some of the individual amenities that give each and every room its own special character.
The inns Depot House is available for secure snowmobile storage and there is room for snowmobile trailer parking. There is also rack storage for skis and equipment for the convenience of our guests.
 The neighboring Mt. Sunapee Ski Resort offers the ultimate in Alpine and Nordic skiing as well as challenging snowboard runs. An in-line skate park, driving range, and golf course are also only "a stone's throw" away. Maybe a boat cruise, country fair, or summer theater is your desire. Either way, the Blue Goose Inn provides a home base with the emphasis on "home".
